Minesweeper is a familiar game of deduction: uncover safe squares, use number clues to locate hidden mines, and clear the board without detonating one. Choose a beginner, intermediate, or expert board and try to beat your personal best.
How to play
- Reveal a square to start. Your first reveal is always safe, and open areas automatically clear nearby empty squares.
- Each revealed number shows how many mines touch that square, including diagonals.
- Flag squares you believe contain mines. On a phone or tablet, turn on flag mode before tapping a square.
- Reveal every safe square to win. The timer starts on your first reveal.
