Overview

This stakeholder mapping tool helps you visualize and manage stakeholder relationships using the classic power/interest matrix. The tool runs entirely in your browser and includes:

• Interactive matrix - Drag stakeholders to position them on the power/interest grid
• Four quadrants - Manage Closely, Keep Satisfied, Keep Informed, and Monitor
• Stakeholder management - Add, edit, and delete stakeholders with custom attributes
• Map management - Create multiple maps for different projects
• Export options - Save maps as JSON or Markdown for sharing or documentation
• Local storage - All your maps are saved automatically in your browser

The Power/Interest Matrix

The stakeholder map is divided into four quadrants:

Interactive Canvas

• Visual drag-and-drop interface for positioning stakeholders

Stakeholder Management

• Add new stakeholders with name, power, and interest levels
• Edit stakeholder details in a modal form
• Delete stakeholders you no longer need
• Visual indicators show which quadrant each stakeholder belongs to

Map Management

• Create multiple stakeholder maps for different projects
• Search and filter your saved maps
• Delete maps you no longer need

How to Use

1. Create a map - Click “New Map” and give it a name
2. Add stakeholders - Click “Add Stakeholder” to create new entries
3. Position stakeholders - Drag them on the canvas to set their power and interest levels
4. Edit details - Click on a stakeholder to edit their name and description
5. Export - Save your maps as JSON or Markdown

Tips

• Place stakeholders based on their actual power and interest in your project
• Focus your communication efforts on the “Manage Closely” quadrant
• Regularly review and update stakeholder positions as projects evolve
• Use the search feature to quickly find specific maps
• Export regularly to keep backups of your work
